Someone is stalking one of Hollywoods leading ladies, Sydney Lang.
Her cousin, Sheriff Daniel Stafford, decides to bring her home to Stafford, Colorado where he hopes to keep her out of the public eye and out of harms way.
Julia Mc Farlin, a location manager for Paramount studio, thinks Stafford, Colorado is the perfect place to shoot their movie.
The only problem is Sheriff Stafford.
He's determined to stop that from happening.
When Sydney finds out that the director of the movie is her ex-husband, Paul, she decides it's time to leave the only place she has felt safe for the past two years.
When Sydney learns that Paul may lose everything because he no longer has a leading lady for his lm, Sydney can't sit by and watch the man she loves lose everything he's worked so hard for.
Her decision to stay and help Paul could mean putting herself and possibly Paul in danger once again.
Sydney's safety comes first and Daniel is determined to keep her safe no matter what it might cost him.
He's convinced himself that's Sydney's safety is the only reason he doesn't want the movie to be made in Stafford, and the affect Julia Mc Farlin has on him has nothing to do with his decision.
