About the Author: Jennifer is wife to Shawn and mom to six, two of whom live with Jesus.
Her surviving twin son has significant multiple disabilities.
His rare form of cerebral palsy is the most impacting, requiring total care; he is non verbal and non mobile but these labels dont really define him.
She also cares for her dad who was diagnosed with a rare form of dementia in his forties.
She has run the special needs ministry at her church, leads a support group for special needs parents, and travels to former Soviet Belarus to help run camps for orphans, children and adults with special needs, and their families.
