John Thanopoulos started his career in business achieving by the age of 26 more than $25, 000, 000 in sales.
Eventually joined the academe from 1992, & became professor of Marketing & International Business at the University of Akron Ohio where he received various awards Teaching Excellence (1988), Distinguished Sales & Marketing (1994), Publication (1997) & Teaching Innovation (1997).
Named by Editors of Global Survey of the Academy of International Business as 1 of six pioneers of these studies (2000) & by the World Education Congress as Best Professor in International Busi.
