For the past ten years, I have been lucky enough to have one of the most rewarding and fulfilling careers on the planet.
It has filled my heart with so much joy.
Not too long after starting my journey as a career nanny, I started writing down some of the funny and real conversations that I had with children, because they meant something to me and I wanted to remember them.
At the time, I had no intention of writing a book.
As time went on, I started collecting more and more conversations and sharing them a bit with some people.
Everyone who heard one of the conversations had one thing in common: they thought they were funny or even thanked me for the laugh.
Recently, after sharing one of the conversations with someone they laughed and said, You should be writing these things down.
In the end, you will have a hilarious book They had no idea I had nearly ten years worth of conversations already written down I honestly didn't think much about it and thought, Me? Write a book? Yeah right Time went on and I started looking at the world around me.
I realized how much people need laughs I started playing with the idea of actually writing this book.
I mentioned it to a few friends who gave me the push I needed to move forward with this project Thanks ladies With that said, here it is ten years packed full of real, every day conversations between me and children.
I hope they will give you a laugh, lighten your mood and that they can serve as something to read when you need a pick me up, because that is what they have been to me over the past ten years.
