About the Author Awo Falokun Fatunmbi is a Babalawo in the Ifa Orisha tradition, an Ifa scholar, and theologian.
He has over 30 years of experience in the Ifa Orisa Tradition and has written over 20 books as well as numerous articles and publications exploring and expounding upon the tradition of Ifa and the Yoruba religion.
He is considered one of the most influential writers of the religion because of his ability to teach complicated indigenous concepts to a western audience.
He is also considered one of the esteemed elders who promoted traditional approaches to Ifa based in Africa at a time when Lucumi, one of its branches based in Cuba, was more popular in the west.
With his first book Iwa Pele, Fatunmbi brought more awareness of the importance of developing good character in the tradition.
His following books expounded in concepts such as Divination, Ori, Warriors, Egun and Ancestral practices, as well as the Orisa, Oriki and so much more.
