Jos ngel Buesa was born in Cruces, Las Villas, Cuba, on September 2, 1910.
He attended the Marist Brothers' School in Cienfuegos for elementary and high school education and later went to Havana for his collegiate studies.
Since 1931, Buesa was a writer for all the main radio companies in Cuba, as well as program director and scriptwriter for television and cinema.
He wrote poems from an early age and by 22 had already published his first books.
Compelled into exile by the communist govern.
