About the Author Ever since his grade school days, Moses Hochstetler (aka Grandpa Moses) has loved to write.
In the mid 1990's Moses graduated from the West Redding School of Children's Literature.
Over the years he wrote numerous poems, and by the late 1900's many of them had been published in anthologies, magazines, and newspapers.
Early in his writing career Moses laid out, designed, and had a local print shop produce 6 of his own booklets containing many of his early poems, and he designed many of his own greeting cards and flyers to share with friends.
In 2008 Moses published a book on his family history and genealogy.
In 2009 he wrote a book of poems and essays in Recollections Of An Amish Childhood.
He followed that up In 2010 with his collection of Poems To Cheer the Heart.
Finally, in 2013, Moses put together a collection of inspirational poems and lyrics in Sacred Celebrations.

It was first written for his daughter Karen in 1985.
