Allen (Ph.

Missiology) served from 1978 to 1990 in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, as village evangelist, discipler, pastor, and Bible college lecturer and administrator.

From 1996-2002, Wayne served as the David Ho Professor of World Missions at the Caribbean Graduate School of Theology in Kingston, Jamaica.

His primary focus was to train Caribbeans for cross-cultural missionary service.

Beginning in 2003, Wayne has conducted seminars in many Asian countries, training national leaders to launch disciple-making movements.

His current focus is to encourage the large and powerful Christian denominations in Indonesia to send cross-cultural missionaries into the ASEAN nations.
