About the Author Omavi Langevine, who grew up in the tiny village of Vessigny La Brea, south of Trinidad, is a multimedia entrepreneur, performance poet, writer, author and photographer, who also dabbles in a bit of music.

No stranger to the realm of many things artistic, including the performing arts, his love for writing, poetry, story telling, and words in general runs deep.

He has been professionally writing and performing as a poet and a story teller since 2010, and has made many guest appearances on various radio and television programs, concerts and competitions, where he shared with the world a combination of selected readings and stellar performances.

Apart from the artistic facet of his life, the love for mankind runs deeply through his existence.

He devotes himself to anything altruistic or bearing the semblance of it.

He has been apart of various nation building projects and organisations, including being the television host for a youth in focus program for four years.

He sees his volunteered time as one of the best investments ever made.

In 2014, he joined the ILove Foundation, where he still functions as an English Language tutor to many children and the only male tutor in the entire organisation.

Deeply rooted in spirituality, his writing is a reflection of existential issue.
