Nadia's twins leave for university, and she initially enjoys the empty nest's space for burgeoning romance as well as no longer having to buy 'the big milk', but then her son Alfie abruptly drops out, and Nadia must reconcile the sense of having regained her life with the setback of a sulking teenager.
