)About the Author Heidi Bryan founded Feeling Blue Suicide Prevention Council, a nonprofit organization based in Pennsylvania, after losing her brother Jeff to suicide.

Heidi developed the booklet, After an Attempt: The Emotional Impact of a Suicide Attempt on Families and co-authored another booklet entitled Now What Do I Do with Amy Cunningham, Psy.

She received her Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Cedar Crest College.

Heidi recently moved to Neenah, Wisconsin, with her husband, Bill, and their chocolate Newfoundland, Winnie, where she uses her Chemistry degree to create rolled, dipped, and filled chocolate confections.
