Irwin County High head football coach Buddy Nobles was faced with a diagnosis and a path that led only one way- to be there with his family, for his family, and for them to face the challenge as one.

He graduated from Lakeside High School in Atlanta and Florida State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science.
He has also covered high school athletics for Georgia Public Broadcasting for twenty-six seasons as a host and correspondent for its high school coverage.
He is the author of five books about high school and college football in the southeast.
He lives in suburban Atlanta with his far-more-pretty wife, Patty, and his furry child - a Pekingese named Trooper.
