I will speak of things that you will face whether you are in a level one, two or three facility.
I am sharing with you some of the hurt and pain that I caused in the lives of those that loved and trusted me.
I share my own faith with the hope of encouraging you to care enough for yourself to not waste that time trying to fit into a place that you were not born to spend your life.
Until you love yourself enough to change you cannot possibly love anyone else enough to change.
About the Author Antonio Jackson is not a certified addiction counselor.
He is a person who allowed addiction to lead him down a road that resulted in him being raised by the Indiana Department of Correction.
After spending a large portion of his life inside, Antonio realized and accepted the fact that change has to come from within himself.
He realized it wasn't up to the system, his family or friends to make him change.
He had to be willing and committed to making better choices a way of life.
By sharing his personal story Antonio hopes to help others avoid the mistakes he has made and to encourage those who are incarcerated to start m.
