Richards graduated from Pennsylvania Military College, now Widener University, and served in the US Army as an infantry officer.

Richards worked in the health care field and served as the chief financial officer of a large academic health center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He has since retired.

Richards combined his own military knowledge with his passion for Roman antiquity to write Legions of the Forest.

He is pleased to present its sequel, Return of the Eagles.
