The great horror - sci-fi writer, editor and literary agent Forrest J Ackerman made an office and museum in his famed Ackermansion in the Griffith Park area of the Hollywood Hills of California underneath the observatory.
On Saturday nights he would have his closest friends and guests gather together in the upper residence area of his mansion to share pizza or Zankou chicken and sit in the great living room and take turns reading their favorite horror, fantasy and science fiction stories out .
