And it's well worth reading.

Her writing is very clever, and this story is great.
Warning This is not your typical Urban romance, dope boy, thug love, or kingpin savage book.
Heart pounding.
Drama filled.
Gritty.
Street literature.
I swear sometimes I hate my baby daddy.
Well, maybe not hate him, but all this going back and forth to jail is really playing out.
Leaving me alone out here struggling to take care of these kids is played out.
And having to be the Mama and the Daddy isn't what I want for my kids.
Now I'm feeling resentful.
Then again, the love we make sometimes can have me in my feelings.
The gifts, the cars, toys.
Ain't lying, Bae got my heart.
At least, I think so anyway.
Then out of all things, I meet him.
Loyalty was what was expected of her, and Nivea Hynes had no problem giving that and more to her man Quad, but she couldn't say that after everything she wasn't becoming resentful.
Always having to face life's challenges alone hasn't been easy, but she's managing.
