In the picturesque Cornish town of Falmouth, a chance meeting develops into a friendship between Beth, her young son, Harrison and her neighbour, Maureen.
However, Beth is unaware of Maureen's growing obsession with Harrison, or that Maureen considers him a surrogate for her dead grandson.
