THE PALM SPRINGS BEARS COOKBOOK is a mammoth gay community cookbook produced by the Palm Springs Cookbook Bears, a potluck group that started off with the idea of a different cookbook being used at every potluck .
but it turned out we didn't like rules, we just wanted to make food and have fun.
When the pandemic came, the club's potlucks were suspended for a while, so the members of the club produced this cookbook, which also raises money for Well In the Desert, a local charity that feeds and assists those in need in the western half of the Coachella Valley.
