Dorjee, one of the most senior and renowned Tibetan medical practioners outside Tibet, is married to Dr.
Yeshi Khando Dorjee, who practices Tibetan medicine in Majnu-ka-Tila in Delhi.
Their eldest daughter, Tenzin Yangkyi, graduated with a B.
from St.
Joseph College, Darjeeling and holds a degree in Tibetan Medicine and Surgery from the Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in Saranat, Varanasi.
Their younger daughter, Tenzin Choeying, holds a BA in Political Science (Honours) from Delhi University and has recently graduated from the Tibetan Medical College in Dharamsala.
