It's not a book about me.
yet it is.
We can only speak from those passageways we have walked.
My life's journey has been filled with both pain and triumph, but I can tell you this-that it is only the grace of God that has righted me.
His grace has allowed me to walk some paths only to discover another facet of who He is; and His mercy has kept me from staying too long to protect me from myself.
He has the same thing in mind for you.
As I look back over my life while working through my story, I see a great miracle called The Church .
For better or for worse, The Church has been a part of my life-well, all of my life.
I have had an on again/off again -love/hate relationship with The Church.
I see it changing still today.
Not a building, but people.
Not a social club, but the gift of service.
Not a judge's chambers, but a place mercy.
Not a place to run from, but a body to embrace.
Not what I thought is was-more like a stream in the desert.
Not ordinary, but a place of Unlikely Grace .
